SHELTER IN ONE ANOTHER

What challenging times we are facing! Our county is still mandated to Shelter-in-Place and now more than ever, I am missing the face-to-face contact with friends.

For those of you who unexpectedly became homeschooling parents, welcome to summer! I hope you will have time to relax and enjoy your family. And while you are at it, take some time for yourself: sit back, have a cup of tea and read a good book.

Speaking of books, I’d love to hear from you, my readers, of books you recommend that might help our children though these stressful times. Feel free to leave a comment with books you believe are especially appropriate now (for children or for the rest of us!)

I’ll mention my own book, MAMA'S NEEDLE, because you can’t tell from the cover that it is about an African American family, and we especially need books with diverse characters at this time in our nation.

If you’d like a free Kindle version, I will send one to the first ten people who email me at: jwsreadwell@gmail.com

Stay well! Stay safe! And take care of one another.
