I saw the horrific news of the Connecticut tragedy yesterday
while sitting at my desk. Outside my window our students played at recess; their
happy, carefree expressions amplified the loss experienced at Sandy Hook
Elementary School. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of those who
lost loved ones, the survivors, and all the people of Connecticut. Our nation
mourns.
